What we are most anxious about, is the worth of our own selves. In order to avoid and contend with this crisis of self-worth, we need to align our hearts and minds with thoughts which individuate us in such a way where we develop the strength to refrain from comparing our worth with that of another’s.

Anxiety means that you are not properly aligned with who you are, and who you are has nothing to do with what you appear to be (gender, race, sex, socio-economic status etc.).
