We often think of boldness as the ability to be overt and outspoken with regards to ones most cherished ideals and values. While this is an aspect of boldness, what is fundamentally bold, is the unique capacity to emotionally withstand the worlds attempts to silence you. This perseverance does not need to manifest verbally; in fact, those who speak the loudest are often the ones who are incapable of contending with opposition. To be Bold is to continually remain steadfast in the belief of one’s own worth, in the face of opposition, challenges, tragedy, hate, and persecution. Boldness is a loud and powerful statement, made, internally.
