One of the most important questions people fail to ask themselves before setting out for a job hunt is, Are You Ready? One of the fundamental components of readiness is identity; in other words, Who are you? To seek out employment with a lack of understanding of self is a vacuous pursuit, and often leads to various forms of disappointment. The goal is to make your vocation your vacation; in other words, align your passion and love with your work life. We teach job-preparedness in the form of getting our participants to know themselves a bit better. We carry out a variety of personality tests, stress tests, learning style tests, and others to provide insight to our participants regarding potential career interests and volunteer opportunities. Once our participants have an understanding of who they are, we then connect them with community partners and internships where they have the opportunity to develop the skills necessary for success in their respective careers. We try to illuminate the passions and interests of our participants and couple them with what the world needs, along with providing mentorship and counselling along the way.
